Climb through the woodlands on the edge of town to explore the moors and the celebrated local landmark of Jubilee Tower commemorating Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and the granting of open access to the moors to the townsfolk of Darwen.
Please meet us at Roddlesworth Information Centre from 09:45 where there is adequate car parking. The walk will start promptly at 10:00 and we expect to return to our starting point approx 13:00 where you can either enjoy a packed lunch in the picnic area or head to the nearby Royal Arms.
