Free networking and cyber security event

16 Mar 2022

Bolton Arena

13:30 - 15:30

IT & Telecoms specialist Digicomm 360 is holding a free seminar and networking session to educate local businesses on the importance of taking control of their cyber security, as cyber attacks continue to rise.

“The Invisible Threat” will be held at Bolton Arena on Wednesday 16th March between 1.30pm-3.30pm. Busiensses can see a 70% reduction in cyber threats when effective security training is in place - but many organisations are unsure where - and how - to get started.

This fantastic FREE, informative event, lead by industry experts, is designed to help senior management break down these barriers and gain a clear understanding of how to protect their business data, devices, and people.

Digicomm 360 Managing Director Mark Pollitt explains more: "Cyber security is a hotter topic than ever, yet it’s something that businesses often overlook, often taking the “ostrich approach” of stick their head in the sand. We’re challenging local business owners to ask themselves just how would they react to a cyber attack if personal and sensitive information was released – and to fully understand the impact it could have on their organisation.”

The seminar will cover the following areas and delegates will:

  • Learn how Digicomm can help develop a business strategy that combats cyber threats as well as adding real value to an organisation.
  • Understand the internal and external cyber threats to business
  • Watch demonstrations to strengthen an organisation’s defences by implementing cyber security awareness that begins at the top-down.
  • Interactive group discussions to understand key business assets and how to protect them
  • See the unique approach Digicomm take to help protect a business’s data, devices and people.

Digicomm 360, based at the Queensbrook business park close the Bolton town centre, helps businesses communicate by providing the best outsourced telecoms and IT solutions based in the North West and delivering across the UK. With over 100 years collective expertise, backed up with experience and award wins, the business fully understands how effective communications can help an organisation thrive. Clients include Bolton Arena, Age UK Salford and People Matters HR.

Mark Pollitt concluded: “This is sure to be a fantastic event at the home of at our customer Bolton Arena, who we have supported with IT for many years. As well as offering a great understanding of how staff can all play apart in the protection of the businesses they work for, there will also be a chance to network with other business leaders from across the area. Living in a digital era doesn't have to be scary with Digicomm 360 on your side!"
