Course Overview
The Modern Slavery Act came into Force in 2015. This session gives an overview of the Act; focusing on the impact on supply chains and the role of Procurement and actions required to support the organisation.
This session will provide guests with a general overview of the main areas of law, both collective and individual considering the impact of the Modern Slavery Act. It is suitable for all employees working in Procurement and Human Resource roles.
The masterclass will involve group based delivery, discussion and activity. It will provide guests with a general overview of the main areas of law, both collective and individual considering the impact of the Modern Slavery Act. Equality and Diversity will be one of the themes introduced in this masterclass.
This masterclass is open to Lancashire-based SMEs in the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing sector.
