In this session we’ll look at where to start and how to best go about choosing the right performance-boosting technology for your business. The need to introduce and maximise the benefits of automation is critical, but it is highly c

The Digital Clinic is a short interactive session to learn, share, and stimulate discussion on key business issues which will affect the profitability and performance of manufacturing SMEs.

Led by Edge Hill University and the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), the Clinic brings together SMEs and technology adoption experts to share detailed, authentic, local examples of technology challenges and successes in SMEs.

Generating, sustaining and monitoring sales pipeline, production schedules, resources, and profitability are issues that affect every small and medium sized manufacturing business.

The Clinic session will include:

  • technology adoption expert speakers, including SMEs who have been through the pains of adoption but are now realising the performance benefits;
  • breakout room discussions;
  • live Q&A;
  • a guided performance benchmarking assessment.

Beyond this Clinic, SME participants may wish to progress to participate in the available Manufacturing Connect programme, which supports SMEs in more depth to quickly build confidence, a clear business case, and an action plan for adopting new digital technologies.

Interested? Contact Debbi Dawson or Simon Brierley at [email protected] for more information and an informal chat to discuss what’s included.
