Guest Speak – Peter Harrison

Peter Harrison is the Founder and Managing Director of FGH Security, a company he established in 2003 in Lancaster to provide door supervision for local venues. By 2010, FGH had become the sole provider of door supervisors in the city.

Today, FGH Security employs nearly 3,000 people across the UK and Ireland, with clients including Wembley Stadium, Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Glastonbury, adidas, Netflix, and Disney. The company’s headquarters remain in Lancaster, employing around 150 local staff, and generating revenues approaching £40m.

FGH has earned numerous accolades, including Glassdoor’s Top 50 UK Employers, Sunday Times Best Places to Work, and the Lancashire Red Rose Award for Best Employer.
