The Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone Quiz, hosted by Cummins Mellor is back for an incredible 10th year.
Organisations from across Lancashire come together for a fun filled, authentic quiz night with lots of prizes up for grabs, generously donated by local businesses.
The BDYZ Quiz will be hosted at Accrington Stanley and once again the venue has very kindly been provided free of charge by the club, along with the food.
Over the last 9 years, the event has raised thousands of pounds with all funds going towards Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone’s Employability Hub. The Hub provides 1 to 1 support for young people between the ages of 16 and 24 to prepare for the world of work.
The Employability Hub team is made up of youth employment coaches, youth workers and health and wellbeing professionals, so far they have helped over 1000 young people in Blackburn with Darwen overcome barriers to education, employment or training.
