Accountants Workshops - Guidance for life

At Mattioli Woods, we know how important it is – for both accountant and financial adviser – to guide clients in the management of their wealth so they can achieve the best outcomes for their personal circumstances and life stage.

Each workshop will start with an outline of how Mattioli Woods sits within the financial sector, discussing the products and expertise we offer, and our interpretation of what the financial markets are doing. After that, we’ll discuss topics we know are of key interest to your clients, such as:

• intelligent pension planning: pensions are not only the most tax-efficient method of saving for retirement, but can also provide significant options to business owners and entrepreneurial individuals during their working
• using wealth wisely: while there are a range of saving and investment vehicles that can provide income in retirement, the best strategies will combine these intelligently and allow for plans to change as life inevitably does
• passing on wealth: with tax receipts for HMRC from inheritance tax steadily increasing, we look at a range of planning options to reduce the impact of IHT and ensure wealth passes to the right people at the right time
