The Pendle Business Awards are back for a sixth year.

Pendle Business Awards

Organised by Pendle Council and Pendle Vision, winners across ten categories will be honoured at celebratory event on July 5 at The Fence Gate.

Councillor Mohammed Iqbal, Leader of Pendle Council, said: “This is the sixth year of Pendle Business Awards which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to our business community.

“Each year our events have continued to grow in stature and we’re delighted to be able to showcase the best of Pendle’s businesses again.

“This is a fantastic platform to put our borough in the spotlight and spread the word about the fantastic companies we have here.”

Dennis Mendoros, chairman of Pendle Vision and president of Mendor Enterprises, added: “Many people don’t know that Pendle has a real success story to tell.

“Some of the country’s most famous brands are based here, including Rolls Royce, Silentnight, Mackintosh and Farmhouse Biscuits and we have the highest concentrations of employment in advanced manufacturing in the UK.

“Pendle Business Awards give us the chance to put the spotlight on these companies as well as our hidden high quality, long-standing businesses and those more recently established.

“Whether you’re a one-man band with a local specialist trade; a growing small to medium-sized business or a large company with a worldwide reputation, there’s a category for you!”

Merc Aerospace is sponsoring the trophies by designing and producing the unique awards.

Entries close on March 30. More details can be found at www.pendlebusinessawards.com
