Service Care named as Lancashire's Business of the Year

Service Care Solutions attended the Be Inspired Business Awards where they were revealed as 'Business of the Year' by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce. 

The award, sponsored by Lancashire County Council, drew a line to the night's winners and was presented as the show's finale. 

Service Care Solutions has a remarkable history with Lancashire’s longest running awards ceremony, having been crowned Employer of the Year twice, and winning the title of Best Medium Business in 2023. 

To sweeten their success, the business was awarded the highly commended award in the Employer of the Year category.

This follows their achievement of being crowned as Best Employer by the Red Rose Awards in March. 

The BIBA Awards were created to reward businesses in Lancashire who fuel innovation, cultivate excellence, and nurture the next generation of business leaders. 

A purpose that aligns perfectly with Service Care’s why statement, ‘to provide a legacy that values all people and creates opportunity for generations to come’.  

The business was represented by a mixture of employees on the night, including their chairperson and directors, members of their leadership team, one of their current Apprentices, and the current winners of their internal quarterly awards.  

The teams’ cheers echoed across Blackpool’s Ballroom Tower and saw the team take over the stage to collect the award as one, delivering an acceptance speech that shared gratitude to everyone at Service Care Solutions.

“We have been incredibly fortunate to have had a fantastic run of success at the Biba’s awards in recent years, but to be named as Lancashire’s Business of the Year is truly special.

Service Care Solutions are a multi-sector recruitment business who provide temporary and permanent recruitment to public, private and third-sector organisations nationwide.

They currently employ a team of 110 who work collaboratively to deliver an award-winning service across a range of sectors, including health & social care, probation and offender rehabilition, construction, sales, and legal and financial services.

The entry process for the next BIBA awards will reopen in the spring of 2025 for other Lancastrian businesses who wish to complete across 20 prestigious categories.
