Rainbow Hub seeks marketing executive

Rainbow Hub, the Mawdesley-based charity providing therapeutic services for children and young people with physical disabilities as a result of a neurological condition or brain injury, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing executive to join our team on a full- time basis (35 hours per week).

Reporting to the chief executive, the marketing executive role will include all aspects of marketing and communications including design management, social media and digital content creation. The marketing executive will provide support to campaigns, activities and events, and assist in the development and production of Rainbow Hub communications across the marketing mix. The role includes liaising with suppliers to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of all marketing support materials and collateral.

Rainbow Hub are looking for someone who has a passion for social and digital media with a creative approach to engaging audiences. You will ideally have experience in the production of content and be comfortable working with photography, video and design assets. There's a great deal of scope for creativity and growth in the role, and it's vital that you're a real team player who understands the broad spectrum of multi-channel marketing.

It is an exciting time for Rainbow Hub as they have just launched a new nursery to support young children, and their families, with specialist need alongside all the other life changing facilities and services that they offer.


  • English and Maths GCSE grade A-C or Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrable experience and proven success in marketing communications.
  • A proven track record of implementing effective targeted marketing communications campaigns, both digital and conventional
  • Experience working with website content management systems (ideally WordPress) and across a range of digital platforms 
  • Experience in the design, production and distribution of printed, audio-visual and digital materials.
  • Excellent copy writing and web editing skills together with highly developed communication skills
  • Car owner / driver with a clean driving licence and business insurance 
  • Flexibility to work outside office hours as and when required

The buildings house some of the large equipment for our Conductive Education therapy and the large specialist trampoline for the provision of Rebound Therapy.  There’s also gym equipment, used for physiotherapy, a private classroom, a kitchen with wheelchair access adapted to ensure that everyone is able to use it, a Sensory Room, Active Movement Room and Early Years room to cater for 2 to 5 year olds.  There’s also a vast outdoor space featuring a playground, a replica of the community including traffic lights and kerbs, a sensory garden, nature trail and area for expansion and new facilities.
