Blackpool-based family firm TISS Ltd earned its second Queen’s Award for Enterprise after its TankSafe Impregnable fuel security device won the award for innovation.

The product is sold in over 60 countries and through TISS’ regular liaison with their global network of customers, distributors and OEM partners.

Rinicom CEO, Professor Garegin Markarian, said: “We are overwhelmed and honoured to have received the Queen’s Award for the second time. It is an amazing achievement for us, as well as recognition for all the hard work our team have put in over the past few years.”
