Lancashire Business View’s Sub36 is back for 2018 with a series of networking events culminating with the Sub36 awards on 18 October.
Sub36 was created to celebrate the success of those beginning to carve their careers, moving up the ranks or already at the top of their game, using their youthful vision to bring ideas that positively disrupt their sectors. It’s for those aged under 36 setting the pace in business.
Sub36 Networking 2018
We are excited to announce that the Sub36 networking events have been revamped for 2018 to offer a different format with a more lively and social feel at venues with a twist – come along to meet like-minded professionals from across the county in all areas of business, and have a bit of fun too!
New Sub36 event host revealed!
BBC TV and radio presenter Mike Stevens will host the LBV Sub36 networking events for 2018.
Born in Lancaster, Mike has always had a passion for broadcasting and hosted his first radio show on a local community radio station aged 14. After a spell working in retail, he got his break into the media industry on a BBC trainee scheme.
Since then, Mike has produced and presented shows for BBC Radio Lancashire and has interviewed thousands of well-known figures from a variety of fields. He now works as a BBC TV and radio reporter, specialising in political stories across the North West.

“It’s really important for young professionals to meet, chat and network with fellow like-minded individuals in the region and the LBV Sub36 networking events are a great opportunity to do this. Regardless of what sector you work in, by working in partnership we can support one another in the early stages of our careers and strengthen Lancashire’s overall offering.”
Lauren Grice, head of partnerships, Bespoke | Digital Agency
The Sub36 2018 Awards will be launched at the event in June with entries closing on 3 September and the event taking place on Thursday 18 October at Winter Gardens Blackpool.
