Yorkshire 3 Peaks Sponsored Walk

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks are famous for their stunning views and what better way to enjoy them by joining our sponsored walk, helping us raise vital funds to support older people in Lancashire.

The day is being professionally guided by the Yorkshire 3 Peaks company, and you will be joined by walking guides and a safety crew throughout the day.

Whilst physically demanding, this walk is achievable by people with a reasonable level of agility and fitness.

On the day of the event all participants will need to make their own way to the start point (Ingleborough).  Here you will be met by a member of the event team along with the Mountain guides who will be walking with you to lead you around the route.  There are support vehicles on hand to provide refreshments at two stopping points (plus a safe means to retire from the walk if needed). You will be met at the two stopping points by a support vehicle who will offer you water top-ups, as keeping hydrated is really important.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge includes:

Ingleborough (723 metres)

Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)

Whernside (736 metres)

We are really looking forward to this event and hope you will join us.  For more information and to register please visit: https://www.ageuk.org.uk/lancashire/get-involved/yorkshire-3-peaks-walk/
