Leading Lancashire: Project Management - Intermediate programme - Monday 8 March


Are you interested in developing professional project management knowledge and skills?

This 6-day intermediate project management programme will provide delegates with a strong understanding of the factors and techniques involved in delivering a successful project. Written in line with the Association for Project Management’s (APM) latest Body of Knowledge, this programme will support those involved in projects at all levels.

Who this programme is for:

This programme will benefit anyone who manages, sponsors, supports or contributes to projects; those interested in starting a career in the project management profession; and those generally interested in learning more about what can increase project success.

To get the most from this programme, one or two years’ experience of working on projects would be helpful but not essential.

  • How projects are structured within different organisations, contexts and environments
  • Project life-cycles and governance
  • Communication, leadership and teamwork
  • Planning and scheduling
  • Scope management
  • Resource management and procurement
  • Risk, issues and quality management
