Freshwalks Lancashire Launch Event
***SOLD OUT - New Dates announced****
Freshwalks help you feel and perform better by offering fresh perspectives in a supportive community – and we are excited to be launching in Lancashire.
Our networking walks offer an opportunity to recharge the batteries and restore work/life balance by enhancing mental performance and wellbeing, improving physical fitness, collaborating with others, sharing knowledge and growing your network.
There’s no pressure to do the usual ‘networky’ things and there’s certainly no hard sell, just an opportunity to gain a bit of perspective and bounce ideas off fellow professionals from the northwest business community.
Freshwalks members come from all walks of life: entrepreneurs, SMEs, freelances, consultants and professionals – and come together in ad hoc groups to enjoy some headspace in the great outdoors.
This walk starts from Clitheroe Station on Friday, September 11 at 10am, and meanders alongside the River Ribble before climbing up into the rugged uplands on the southern fringe of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering expansive views over Pendle and the Ribble Valley and across to the Bowland Fells.
A long descent takes us into the picture-postcard village of Waddington, where we have the option of pausing to rehydrate at one of three excellent cask ale and food pubs, before a short final stretch back into Clitheroe. We'll be back at Clitheroe Station for 3.30pm.
