EXPORT NORTH WEST: Financing your international ambitions

Lancashire Business View is working in partnership with the Department of International Trade to provide businesses across the North West the information and support they need to finance their international ambitions.

This dedicated online event will focus on the new Internationalisation Fund now available to SMEs in the North West with match-funding of up to £9,000 available.

The fund can be used for a variety of activities including market research, translation services, market visits and consultancy.

The event will bring together both the professionals in this area and businesses with first-hand experience to help those seeking to start or boost their overseas operations.

The event will also feature the optional taster session from the Export Academy: Moving Your Money.

Export Academy taster session

The taster session will offer an overview of the benefits and risks of export; explore the first steps to making informed decisions about internationalisation and will cover:

  • Understanding the benefits of, and barriers to, export
  • Pricing strategy and route to market
  • International commercial (INCO) terms
  • Movement of money
