3D CAD Modelling Masterclass

Course Overview

This half day masterclass, delivered by the Making Rooms, Blackburn, will introduce the concept of design sketching and its use in 3D modelling. The session will centre around a practical example of creating a 3D modelled case for a printed circuit board. A medium to high level of computer literacy is required for this masterclass.


Completion of this masterclass may provide delegates with the opportunity to study at degree level.


  1. Ability to sketch and measure objects for use in 3D modelling.
  2. Ability to import a 3D model and construct a case around it in Autodesk Fusion360.

Teaching and Learning Methods Tutor led workshop with practical examples. Each delegate will need to bring a laptop for the practical work.
