The grants and funding maze seminar at the E3 Business Expo

The organisers of a North West business-to-business trade exhibition are inviting companies to register to attend a free seminar that will discuss the funding available to help businesses grow. It will also show how companies can access their share of the billions that are returned to government, unspent, each year.

The seminar will be delivered as part of the E3 Business Expo, a one-day event that will take place on 3 March 2016 at the Macron Stadium in Bolton. The Expo will feature expert presentations, speed networking opportunities and an exhibition hall with over 60 stands.

As part of the day-long seminar programme, Steve Mason, MD of the Wirral-based Business Growth Consultants, T4C, will be talking through the maze of funding that is available from the European down to local level. His presentation will begin at 11:45am.

Across the UK there are government grants and funding available to the tune of £8bn. This is spread across thousands of sources, ranging from central European money down to individual philanthropists looking to give something back to their industry or local community.

Unfortunately, most of the grants and funds are not widely advertised and many businesses are not aware of what may be available to them. The process of applying is usually rather bureaucratic and this can deter people from even attempting to access grants or funds for which they are eligible. Steve will talk about what is often involved in applying and the best steps to take to achieve success.

The E3 Business Expo is hosted and organised by 1 Events Media, which also runs the annual E3 Business Awards.

The company's managing director, Mubarak Chati said: “Most companies are looking to grow in some way and funds are put in place at varying levels to help this process. Many people have tried and failed to access funding; others haven't even bothered when they’ve seen the application process. T4C are well positioned to help businesses to find relevant funding and then to help them understand and submit the necessary paperwork.”

Other seminars taking place at the Expo will address issues such as marketing, business security and health and wellbeing in the work place. They will be delivered by bodies including the Chartered Institute of Marketing, RemVoX and EJT Associates. Visitor registrations are now open. Entry is free and delegates may attend as many seminars as they wish. To register, please visit the Expo website - www.e3businessexpo.co.uk.
