Forbes Solicitors has doubled the intake of new trainee solicitors as the Lancashire law firm announced it was recognised in four categories by the The Lex 100 annual trainee survey.

The Lex 100 assesses law firm training contracts built on 2,800 anonymous responses from trainees with 145 law firms in the UK.

Copies of the list are distributed to universities and careers centres around the country.

And in 2018/19, Forbes is a category winner for job satisfaction, quality of work, client contact and approachability.

Stuart Penswick, Forbes partner and training principal, said: “We are delighted that Forbes Solicitors is a Lex 100 Winner for 2018/19 and has won in four categories, which is fantastic.”

Forbes has marked the success with Alexandra Berry, Samantha Abdoollah, Ciaran Rafferty, Alex-Faye Grundy, Daniel Fletcher, Leann Whiteside, Lyndsay Baxter and Georgina Read beginning their Solicitor training programme.

Stuart added: “We are also pleased and excited to have increased our trainee solicitor intake to the eight. This reflects our growth, expansion and ambition of the firm.”
