Door4 delivers new website for Magnet

Burnley-based digital studio Door4 has built a new website for Magnet, the kitchen giant.

The new site incorporates JWT’s refreshed branding for Magnet, and new navigation to simplify how customers choose, design and buy their new kitchen.

Door4 was responsible for the final build, teaming up with marketing specialist Refinery and collaborating with Magnet’s digital team JWT and Carat on technical elements of the website.

The new website also showcases Magnet’s new online configurator tool, which makes it easy for customers to try out different styles, layouts and finishes, customise their choice, get a guide price and book a consultation with an in-store Magnet designer.

The online configurator was built by the digital team at Magnet, and Door4 restructured sections of the website to allow them to integrate it.

James Berzins, digital director of Door4, said: “I’m proud to deliver a website that will prove essential to Magnet’s seamless omnichannel customer shopping experience – and how efficiently we were able to turn it around.

“For customers, it bridges the gap between online browsing and making their new kitchen a reality, and allows them control over the process, from their initial ideas on the sofa to finalising and purchasing their choice in-store.”

Door4 has been retained by Magnet Group since 2011, working primarily with the Magnet Trade brand, where they have helped conceive and deliver several digital transformation projects, most recently launching the Click & Collect service in July 2017.
