Apple Transcription secures quality mark

Apple Transcription has been given a clean bill of health by the regulators for its quality and security systems.

The North West-based transcription provider’s ISO 9001 and 27001 certifications were renewed with effect from 1 November 2017, following an external audit of its systems.

Director Debra Mitchell says: “We were one of the first businesses in our industry to achieve these standards – it’s a reflection of our strong commitment to both the quality and security of our services that they are renewed annually.

“ISO accreditation is very important to us, providing a benchmark by which we can measure the way we work and it means our clients can be confident in our ability to respond efficiently and professionally to their requirements, producing accurate, timely transcripts whilst maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of their data in a robust and secure environment – increasingly important criteria in today’s online world.”

The firm has held ISO 9001 (Quality Management) since April 2011 and 27001 (Information Security Management) since November 2013.

Debra adds: “We would like to say a big thank you to our team for all their hard work in ensuring that our systems and procedures meet the internationally recognised standards required to achieve accreditation.”

Based in Rawtenstall, Apple Transcription has been providing transcription services to the public and private sectors since 2006, transcribing medico-legal conferences, police audio and video interviews, HR meetings, research interviews and focus groups, tribunals and inquests, medico-legal conferences, experts’ reports and digital dictation.

Apple Transcription is offering a free trial of up to 30 recorded minutes for anyone wishing to try the service for themselves. For details visit: or contact us on 0845 604 5642.
