East Lancashire’s leading businesses were recognised at the East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce’s Presidents Awards.

It was smiles all round as Promethean, Oswaldtwistle Mills, Holland’s Pies and Kitchener 2000 collected first prizes at the glitzy event which celebrated and honoured Lancashire’s finest businesses.

Chamber President, John Getty, said: “These achievements mark an exceptional year of business in Pennine Lancashire and their talents, efforts and successes need to be both championed and honoured.

“These awards demonstrate the talent and determination in East Lancashire and I would like to congratulate the companies and the people who work in them for working to make our area’s economy great.”

Hosted at Ewood Park, 320 guests were entertained on the night with anecdotes from the MC, Granada’s Paul Crone as well as music from live dance band The Right Stuff.
